Abstract
This article presents a critical and analytical study of the life and
contributions of Hazrat Makhdoom Abdul Rasheed Haqqani, a
distinguished Sufi scholar regarded among the early exponents of the
Qadiriyya order in the Indo-Pak subcontinent. Emerging from a
renowned lineage with deep-rooted spiritual and socio-political
influence, he maintained close familial and intellectual associations
with leading Sufi figures of his time, including Bahauddin Zakariya
Multani. His spiritual genealogy traces directly to Shaykh Abdul
Qadir Jilani, while his scholarly and mystical engagements connected
him with eminent contemporaries such as Baba Farid and Syed
Jalaluddin Bukhari.
