In Subcontinent (Indo-Pak), Sufism as an organization developed parallel to the expansion of Delhi Sultanate (reign of Delhi Sultnas, the kings), in 11th and 12th centuries as a mystical, rational, and communal authority aimed to build and strengthen connections among numerous communities for advancement of spirituality, social justice, human growth and multiplicity. Sufis from various academic regulations adopted different approaches to keep relations with rulers. Sufi movements stressed on the self-determination, self-respect, universality of humanity, fairness, peace, and harmony as vital promoting factors for the development of the planet. Sufi saints typically instrumentalized human growth through spiritual exercise formally besides informal schooling for promotion of peace, harmony, interfaith discourse through their mediatory role in consistent with Maslow’s grading of needs as circulated by Davis Chowning, and well-established communication tactic as enunciated by critical philosophers. Regardless of several opposing groups within, Sufism continued, and the practice is still relevant for managing the contemporary-day challenges comprising extremism, prejudice, and terrorism. In nearly 75 years, there were three wars between the two and a number of serious localized military clashes, including those on Ran of Ketch in 1965, followed by Kargil in 1999.The disputed territory of Kashmir played a significant role to maintain continuity, focusing the past conflicts of 1947 and 1965. As these two countries exploded nuclear weapons in 1998, their long-standing hostility has attracted and seriously concerned by the international community that their competition could rise to a nuclear war and cause disasters to both countries and the world as well. Whereas the Kashmir including some other outstanding issues, such as, water dispute, Sir Creek, Siachen and boundary disputes have also recorded the extreme level of conflicts between the two rivalries. Regionalism has played a significant role in European continent; however, in South Asia hegemonic attitude of India has marginalized the role of regional organizations such as SAARC. The world and south Asia witnessed the changes over two decades after the cold war, the liberalization of world trade, the growth of fundamentalism and revolutionary changes in the field of communications. Recognizing the intensity of the relations, India and Pakistan’s changing regional and international affairs which has drastically impaled to the leaders and governments of both the countries to initiate talks on their outstanding issues. The cross-border talks were an initiative step which attempted to provide a new forum to debate on these substantive issues resulted in the division of the two nations. Keeping in view the cited developments and their influences on the relations between India and Pakistan, some factors remained constant, the unresolved dispute over Kashmir, the growth of military spending, moves towards Nuclearization and perpetuation of an “adversarial psychosis” are still under question.

This research has critically analyzed historic rivalry between India and Pakistan. It has also provided viable recommendations that how to contain major irritants between two States especially Kashmir issue and Nuclearization in region. These benefits safeguard the rights of the working class by offering financial assistance to meet necessities. The efficiency of laborers in industrial settings positively correlates with the availability of social security benefits. The increased endowment of these services enhances the laborers' capacity to perform effectively within factories. The Punjab Small Industries Corporation in Bahawalpur was established to generate employment opportunities for individuals and to augment the production of various goods. It has been estimated that three thousand nine hundred sixty-three laborers are currently employed in these industries. This research study investigates the actual circumstances and challenges laborers face concerning their social security entitlements. A sample of 198 participants was obtained utilizing a proportionate random sampling methodology. During the data collection phase, 177 laborers were present. The interview schedule was meticulously crafted to incorporate open-ended and closed-ended questions as a research tool. This study reveals that laborers engaged in small industries within the Punjab region, specifically in Bahawalpur, possess an awareness of the social security services offered by numerous organizations. However, the laborers also indicated that the process of accessing social security services is exceedingly intricate and that the quality of these services is inadequate. Consequently, the laborers expressed reluctance to utilize social security services due to the substandard nature of the services provided. Therefore, it is recommended that measures be implemented to address the issues related to procedural delays in the delivery of social security benefits to laborers. This would enable laborers to experience satisfaction and concentrate fully on their occupational responsibilities.
2024-09-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Al-Qamar https://alqamarjournal.com/index.php/alqamar/article/view/1506 Exploring Cross-Cultural Influences in the Pakistani Drama Industry: A Critical Analysis 2024-09-18T18:09:22+00:00 Amna Anwaar Khan amnaanwaar01@gmail.com
The aim of this research paper is to highlight the impact of Indian, Turkish, and now Korean content on Pakistani society through television dramas from the last three decades. The study provides a comparative analysis of different global customs, cultural traditions, and lifestyles in our particular local drama, perceiving how our drama industry has evolved with foreign influences over time. While keeping in mind our glorious era of the 1970s, 80s, even 90s, and millennium, Pakistani modern-day drama has been overshadowed by foreign supremacy. The overlapping similarities among these cultures are one of the reasons the audiences can relate to these drama genres and conclusively are fascinated with their influence. Although it is a matter of consideration that our local viewer has a wide variety of drama content on other platforms, the growing popularity and impact of the abovementioned cultures can be relatable to modern-day collective issues. Moreover, the present study proves that the influence of Indian, Turkish, and Korean content in our local drama industry is gradually changing the lifestyles and mindsets of youth. Undoubtedly, international content shares some relevance rather than fascination and may promote cultural diversity, but the fastest-changing trends among Pakistani youth require attention and an immediate approach to redefining cultural identity. Moreover, the study reveals that our local drama become more commercialized while addressing serious social issues due to foreign influences, which are not alienated but irrelevant to Indigenous Pakistani society. This comparative analysis has been done on the basis of the viewer’s perception and exploratory research method towards foreign influences in our local drama industry using the technique of innate expressionism.
2024-09-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Al-Qamar https://alqamarjournal.com/index.php/alqamar/article/view/1512 The Psychological Gnosticism of Mystic Experience: A Critical Appraisal of Al-Qushayri, Al-Hujwiri, James and Iqbal 2024-11-05T10:41:20+00:00 Muhammad Iqbal Shah alqamarjournal@gmail.com Dr. Ali Raza Tahir alqamarjournal@gmail.com Mahrukh alqamarjournal@gmail.com Zainab Ali alqamarjournal@gmail.com
Being a part of this spatio-temporal “phenomena” and desiring the knowledge of the “nuoma” or “Divine Reality” which is above from our commonly known capabilities and conventional manners of acquiring knowledge through a particular way of meditation and absorbing esoteric experience is the main feature of mysticism. In every era, biographers wrote books on the life of the Holy Prophet. Biography began in early Islam. The appearance of those who picked up the pen on the subject of biography took place during the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) biographers began to write in honor of him. This trend started in the subcontinent as well Apart from Muslim biographers in the subcontinent, non-Muslim biographers also entered this field. Among these biographers, two types of biographers emerged, one class was the one who was inspired by the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and wrote out of love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the other class was the one who wrote against the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) out of hatred for the Prophet (peace be upon him) due to jealousy. In such a situation, some non-Muslim biographers wrote moderately. Yes, I am. S. Dara is counted among the authentic biographers. He supported realism and in honor of him, he wrote in such a way that even Muslim biographers could not help but praise him. When a Muslim biographer writes on this subject, it is generally believed that he as a believer has given a positive account of the life of his beloved Prophet. But when a non-Muslim steps into this valley, a series of questions begin to arise. People start thinking that why did he, as a non-Muslim, write on the biography of the Messenger of Allah? Does his writing contain the fragrance of the Prophet's love or the poison of the Prophet's hatred?
2024-09-09T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Al-Qamar https://alqamarjournal.com/index.php/alqamar/article/view/1496 میدان تصوف میں امام قشیریؒ کا علمی و روحانی کردار 2024-08-30T10:29:05+00:00 Msroor Ahmad hanifmasroor@gmail.com Dr Aqeel Ahmad aqeel.ahmad1@ais.uol.edu.pk
The Holy Quran is last divine book of righteousness for mankind.
