Al-Qamar publishes original scholarly research in Islamic Studies, religious studies, humanities, social sciences, law, history, civilization, ethics, and contemporary Muslim society.

Al-Qamar publishes original Research Articles and Book Reviews in the fields of Islamic Studies, religious studies, humanities, social sciences, law, history, civilization, ethics, and contemporary Muslim society. The journal does not accept other submission categories unless formally announced by the editorial office.

Al-Qamar accepts manuscripts in English, Urdu, and Arabic. For all non-English submissions, authors must provide an English title, English abstract, English keywords, and Roman-script author names. References in non-Roman scripts should be transliterated or accompanied by Roman-script bibliographic details where required for indexing.
