Scholars have rendered extraordinary services to the propagation of Islam from the very beginning. The scholars of the subcontinent have also played a very important role in this regard. This article presents a study of the services of Anwar Shāh Kashmīriī (1875-1933), a well-known Kasmīrī scholar of the subcontinent, for the propagation of Islam. He worked for Islam in various means, including writing books, establishing madrassas and preaching Islam. He also did a very valuable job in refuting the Qādiānīs. His name will always be remembered for its services to Islam in the subcontinent.
