Abstract

This study examines the introductory discussions of Maulana Sher Bahadur's Qur'anic exegesis with special reference to the sciences of the Qur'an. It analyzes his views regarding the meaning of the Qur'an, its terminology, names, definitions, subject matter, and the concept of Tawhid. The research highlights Maulana Sher Bahadur's scholarly methodology, his reliance on classical sources, and his analytical approach in presenting Qur'anic sciences. The study concludes that his introduction provides a comprehensive foundation for understanding the Qur'an and reflects a balanced combination of traditional scholarship and academic analysis.
