Abstract

Munir Niazi a legend personality of all ages, second to none. He wrote Ghazals, Nazms, blank verse, Film Songs, 2 lines and 4 lines poetry, etc. He was born in April 1928 and died in 26 December 2006. He wrote for news papers, magazines and radio as well In 1960. He established a publication institute ‘Al- Misal’ later on he associated with Pakistan T.V Lahore and stayed in Lahore till death Munir Niazi’s poetry allows readers to express their inner feeling with the help of his beautiful poetry. He was the poet of religious values, feelings, nature, inner passions and ‘ego’ Several books are on his behalf. He was rewarded pride of performance award and Sitara-e-Imtiaz award. May his soul rest in peace.
