Abstract

Along with manifold other problems, contemporary Muslim societies are facing the issue of disunity and conflict. Every sensitive Muslim wants this problem to end and the Islamic societies to become a good example of Islamic brotherhood. Addressing this problem, the present article aims at pointing out the relevant examples from the biographies and teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) and his companions. Presenting and interpreting the multiple examples from the lives of the Holy Prophet and his Companions on the subject, the article proves that an ideal Muslim brotherhood in the contemporary Muslim societies can be established imitating these beautiful characters and conducts.
